About the Author ✍️

Brandie Grasso👧 lives on the Texas Gulf Coast🌆🌇 where she cares for the real-life Henry and Henrietta. Brandie decided to write a series of children's books 📚🎟️about the joy of rehabbing and her personal studies in shamanism. While researching the series, she discovered a yellowed newspaper📃 clipping from the 1950s with a picture🖼️ showing her grandfather, Joseph Grasso Jr., kneeling next to two brown pelicans. The caption detailed how the Texas🌇 governor commissioned her grandfather to procure some wild pelicans for Buckingham Palace🏰, at the request of Her Majesty, Elizabeth II, the Queen of England. This extraordinary royal pelican connection from Brandie's family history inspired the origin of the Royal Pelican Tales.🤩
